Hello,

My name is Audrey Ward, and I graduated from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Communication and Multimedia Journalism. I was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. During my time in college, I took a gap semester in Fall 2020 from Saint Leo University to study abroad in Viña del Mar, Chile, where I attended a local university and expanded both my academic and cultural perspectives.

I am highly organized, adaptable, and proactive when it comes to problem-solving. I thrive on engaging with audiences—whether through writing or in-person interactions—and I am fluent in Spanish. Known for my outgoing personality and strong sense of integrity, I am currently freelancing and working toward publishing my writing in magazines. I am always eager to take on new challenges that push me creatively and professionally.

Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I feel most at home outdoors, hitting a bucket of balls at a driving range, as golf is a passion, or biking on local trails in my town. Photography has become one of my favorite creative outlets. I am especially drawn to writing and interviewing about sports (golf, soccer, swimming, and tennis), nature documentaries, travel, food and film critiques, global issues, museums, art, and science.

You’ll often find me with a novel and notebook tucked into my backpack—writing on a beach log, hiking mountain trails, journaling beside a lake, relaxing near waterfalls, or biking along the waterfront while drafting a short story or poem.
